The tire we're standing next to is from one of the pieces of equipment they use down in the mine...it amazing how large their equipment is. We had fun and hope to have a few more field trips this summer.

Field trip
My grandparents and I decided it would be a fun to take an excursion to see the copper mine and since entrance was free for the month of May we took advantage of the opportunity. When we got to the mine we got out of the vehicle and just about blew away...it was soo windy up on the side of the mountain. So we took refuge into the visitor center for a while and learned more about the mine. In the meantime, Noelle found her entertainment in standing over the air vents and feeling the cold air blast in her face. It was funny to watch her facial expressions. Oh she makes me laugh. But I digress. We finally ventured back outside and luckily the wind had died down so we were actually able to look down into the mine. Take a look see...the view over the railing is shown in the picture on the right.

Anniversary Celebration
Last mnth marked our 3 year anniversary. It's amazing what can happen in three years. Here we are with one adorable girl and another on the way. We've had a lot of fun times the past 3 years and am glad we're still going strong and adoring my honey just as much, if not more. So what did we do to celebrate you ask? Well, apparently this year we weren't all the adventurous or maybe it was just the lack of planning but we took a trip down to the city to see the new outdoor mall. It was fun to walk around and we got some fun pics of the little lady.

Afterwards, we met up with my sister who so kindly took Noelle for a few hours so we could go out for dinner. We decided to try one of the Diners, Drive-in's & Dives restaurants. It was a BBQ place that would definitely fall under the Dives category. The outside looked like an old run down building that couldn't possibly be a restaurant tucked back into an old neighborhood that felt abandoned. After dinner we decided that while we have a babysitter we should do something else. So we went in search for a mini golf course, found one but didn't end up playing. Instead we sat on a bench and people watched. Boring eh? I know but it was kind of entertaining given where we were. We then ended back at my sisters house with some ice cream, visited with them for a bit and called it a night. Maybe number 4 we'll actually plan some kind of activity :o)

Easter Fun
We tried to get a picture of Noelle on Easter in her 'Easter dress' but she was too busy running around and couldn't seem to hold still for the camera. So here are few Corey was able to capture.
Later that afternoon we went to Nana & Papa's for dinner and to have an Easter Egg Hunt. Not that it's much of a hunt when you're One but I think she had lots of fun. I wasn't sure she was going to understand what was going on but after we showed her that she needed to pick up the egg and put it in the basket there was no stopping her. She managed to carry her basket (which seemed to be about as tall as her) around the yard and any egg she came across went into her basket.
Corey has given her the nickname "Danger Girl" whenever she does something a bit risky. As you can see she was going for an egg that was at the end of the bricks...instead of walking up to it directly she decided she need to crawl across them.
Walking with Nana and grabbing an egg wedged in the lower branch.
Counting how many eggs she'd gathered.
We had fun and the weather couldn't have been any more perfect.

March Happenings
A couple of weeks ago Noelle tried to escape into the street. I went to grab her arm and she promptly jerked it away causing her to fall to her hand and knees and then onto her nose. The worst part of it all was that she was already heading down hill so consequently the momentum caused her to skid to a halt while on her nose and forehead. The pic is just a day after and the scab got much worse before it got better. But you get the idea--poor girl.

Here she is posing in our flower bed. Spring is here (we hope to stay) and that means lots and lots of weeding. I'm so happy there are some beautiful spring flowers already for us to enjoy.

Aunt April came for a visit...

We had a good time visiting with her and got her and all the cousins together for lunch one day.

Check out Noelle with a new hair-do. Think we may have to borrow that wig for Halloween. :o)

Some more cousin fun, I walked into the room and saw this. I thought it was quite funny and the fact that Noelle was trying to rock him in the chair just made me laugh.
