Finally moving in

So I have been home for a week and I am finally all unpacked and moved into the bedroom and bathroom. The room has had a decent facelift. I recruted Mom, Megan, and Teralee to help paint. Megan complained every day (Megan wanted all of you to know that). I got Desaray to help me put the finishing touches of placing picture and rearranging the room. It looks a lot better than last year when I moved in down there. My favorite part of the old room is the Pooh Bear and Tigger on the closet doors that are now gone, sad day :( . Actually that was my least favorite part!

Graduation

Well who would of thought that it would of taken me hum.....lets see how many years to graduate from 02' to 08', so 6 years to earn my degree in Family and Consumer Science Education. I have worked hard and am very excited to finally be done in April. I spent the first three years at Snow College in Ephraim and then transfered to BYU-Idaho where I will be graduating from.
The girls came up on December 14th the day I walked. Sister Tanner spoke. I had butterflies for most of the night. I just can't believe I actually have made it this far. I am anticipating all the excitement that the world has to offer me now that I am not tied down to school work. Thanks for all of the support to those that have been there for me. Love ya.

Trying to get ready for Christmas

Lately I've been trying to get the Christmas tree skirt made but someone is not being that co-operative. So far I've just been able to cut out the bottom part of the skirt. I'm hoping to be able to finish the whole thing by Saturday. I'll post a picture when the project is completed.

Matt and I are excited for his family to get here on Christmas day. They will be here for a week. It will be fun. Especially because it creates more helping hands around the house. Maybe I can get some more things done around here.

This weekend we are planning on going to Aunt Char's and Uncle Wade's to play with everybody before Matt's family gets here. It will be a lot of fun and good food too!

Here are a couple of more pictures of Camarae. These were taken after she ate, burped, and had a diaper change so she was very happy. As you will see from the picture. I really need to get her some more clothes that fit. We are rotating between 3 pairs of pajamas and a couple of outfits. Which makes for doing laundry often.

This past Monday we woke up to ice on all of the trees. So we went and took a picture of us outside with the icy trees in the background. Camarae was all covered up besides her face peeking out of the blanket for the picture.

One other story. So I've been working really hard on getting to church on time. We've been getting up at 8 a.m. every Sunday, which is two hours before church starts. If Camarae is still sleeping I get ready in 20 minutes. Which leaves about 40 minutes for feeding her and getting her dressed and in the car for church. We pick up one girl from our ward because Matt rides to church in the mornings with her husband in their car. So yesterday she was still sleeping at 8 a.m. so I got up and got ready by 8:20. I then got her out of bed to get her ready. She woke up when I unrapped her to get her dressed. We got dressed and then ate before having to burp and leave. We were ready to go by 8:45 then Camarae decided that she really didn't like her car seat for some reason and would not stop screaming at the top of her lungs. I unloosened the straps thinking this might solve the problem. Nope, the screaming continued. I then took her out of the car seat and adjusted the straps up one more level. Put Camarae back in. She seemed content until I was getting the straps back readjusted to her. The screaming started again. So then I got out two of her wash clothes and wrapped them around the car seat straps by her neck. This seemed to fix the problem. So now we were happy again and on our way to church but we were late. It was now 9:20 and we still had to pick up our other passenger. We arrived at church at 10:05. Just in time to miss the passing of the sacrament. We are going to continually work on getting there on time if not early until it is mastered. We will keep you posted on this goal of ours.

New Hair

Well, I was looking for a change since there is going to be big change in my life in January and then again in April. So I went and got some curls put into my hair. It is growing on me more and more each day. I also got a really cool burn on my neck for the chemical. (j/k) Well I choice to look at it that way so it isn't so annoying. I just need practice to get the hair dew down now so I can be a good lookin' teach for the next 3 months. Yes that is right. I am going to be doing my student teaching in Teralee's old high school only a mile from the house. I will be teaching child development, clothing 1, and either fashion or adult roles/finances well something like that. I am excited yet nervous. The age group I will have is 10-12 graders.

So I am trying to add some pictures with no luck so here it goes again.

A Week of Christmas Festivities

Monday night was our ward Christmas Party. We had a really good dinner and then some how I was roped into giving a Christmas message/thought. I'm glad I had the opportunity to reflect on ways we can give gifts to our Savior this Christmas. Wednesday night I was invited to Savior of the World, which plays at the Conference Center during the Christmas season. It was a fun date and the presentation was a lot better than I remembered. It really made you think about Mary & Joseph and the events before the Savior's birth. Thursday I went to a Christmas Concert by a group call Link & Spur. They started out as street performers in France, the crazy thing is that they're all from Utah. It was neat because they sang/performed a lot of Christmas Carols you don't normally hear and a few that I had never hear before. As a result I found a new Christmas Carol that I like, it's called "Sweet Little Jesus Boy". There is some great sax in there too, it's awesome. Grew out of premie's

Well Camarae is getting bigger and her clothes are showing that. Most off her pajamas that use to be too big are now getting too small. Also, we have finally moved into the newborn size diapers. She is doing a lot better about being able to get her gas out so the colicness has subsided a bit which is so nice for me. She sleeps about 4-5 hours at a time through the night but the day time is a different story. She doesn't like to sleep during the day unless she is being held. So to get some sleep myself we sometimes take a nap together. She will sleep sometimes for a couple of hours in her vibrator chair. Right now she also likes to talk and play for a while after she eats. She is pretty entertaining and has a very cute smile. The other day she had her first shower with mom which she seemed to really enjoy. This is a much easier way of taking a bath and she likes it a lot better. There was not a single scream or tear in the shower.

Tomorrow night Matt and I are trying to find a babysitter so that we can go to Matt's work Christmas banquet. Hopefully we can find someone so far we have not been successful of finding someone to babysit. We'll let you know how that goes.

Thanksgiving

Thank goodness for Thanksgiving, what a great opportunity to get together. It was so much fun and we all had a great time holding and cuddling Camarae. She is just so tiny and cute. We also had a great time playing cards and visiting with all the rest of the family. It had been a long time since some of us had been together. We really need to play again soon!

While in Missouri Sabrina wanted to go eat at Lambert's so we decided that Friday would be the best day. We showed up about 1:00 and were told that it was about an 1 hour and 45 minutes to a 2 hour wait. Who would have know this place was really that popular? Sabrina however, informed me it has been on the Food Network as one of the top 10 places to eat in the U.S. The novelity is that they throw delicious homemade rolls at you--yeah, if you wanna role you have to catch it! So Sabrina, Megan, Teralee and I had a fun time and enjoyed great food.
