Baking Bread

One of my gifts that I got at Christmas time was a bread maker, 2 actually. So since Christmas time we have been baking bread in the bread maker. Matt thinks that the bread is delicious. The bread maker can barely keep up with his new found yummy foods. I thought that I would share some pictures of my bread making skills. The first loaf didn't turn out so well but it has been getting better. The second picture of the loaf of bread Matt actually put the ingredients into the bread maker, it turned out to be our best loaf of bread yet. Hummm..., maybe Matt needs to become the official bread maker in the family.

The video is from this morning when Camarae was playing with the toy that she really likes to play with now. She has been trying to eat him. Sometimes she is successful other times she isn't but it is funny to watch her to see what she does with the toy.

One for Desaray

So Desaray this picture is for you. I took this picture after I did the blog about Camarae growing out of her premies. She is still wearing some premie clothes, some newborn clothes, and the smaller of the 0-3 clothes. Most of her premie jackets/sweaters still fit so she wears those and the premie pants even though they are getting a little short. But the newborn/0-3 month pants are way too big.

One thing that I remembered is new is that Matt started classes again today. So now we only have 3 semesters left of grad school and then he can have a real paying job. That will be exciting for our bank account.

Right now we are still waiting on Benton County for health insurance for Camarae from the AR Kids first. So Camarae has not had any of her immunization shots yet. I've been waiting for the AR Kids insurance so that I can just take her to the doctor instead of waiting in line at the county health center to get her shots done. Hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer on the AR Kids. Also, because of that I haven't had her weighed since after Thanksgiving and what Angie and I did at Aunt Char's during Christmas. Which was weighing me and then Angie gave me Camarae and we subtracted my weight from the total to get approx. what Camarae weighed. So according to that she was somewhere between 8-9lbs. then. And she feels heavier now so I'm guessing that she has got to be around 10lbs. now.

So this past week she has been sleeping for about 6-7 hours at night. Then she'll wake up, eat, and then go back to sleep for another 5-6 hours. The only downfall is that she refused to do her long sleeping time until midnight. For some reason tonight though she went to sleep at 9p.m. So I'm hoping that she will do her long stretch of sleep and then her short one before fully waking for the day. That would be great! Then we could have a more normal sleep schedule.

Just a couple more things. Camarae has been doing a lot better with the car seat and car ride lately. I guess she is deciding/figuring out that while she is in the car she doesn't get out of the car seat and that the ride isn't that bad. She has even fallen asleep a couple of times. Oh, and about my goal to make it to church on time. The past 3 Sunday's we've made it to church on time or even a couple of minutes early! Yay for us!
