It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Miranda--running the Boston Marathon! Wow, it was so exciting to see her and Caleb (Patty's husband) running the world famous marathon. Luckily we were able to catch them along the race course and we even got a few "fives" as Miranda flew on by. Before and after the race it was so fun to spend some time with Miranda and Patty and their spouses. We had fun checking out the different restaurants in Boston, I think my favorite was this little breakfast cafe as the pancakes were incredible. We also did a little sightseeing as we walked the Freedom Trail a little and strolled across Boston Commons. My favorite memory of Boston Commons is from 7 years ago when Miranda and I ventured to the east coast with our friend Amy. In the middle of the Commons is a fountain that looks like a little wading pool (the fountain is in the middle) well we decided it was hot out side and we wanted to take a swim, so we did, right there in the fountain. Oh those were the days :) Although we didn't do any swimming I had a good time. Oh and congrats to Miranda for re-qualifying and for retiring from full marathons. Can't wait 'til we run our first half marathon together!

Utah Jazz
One thing fun about SLC is that we have a professional basketball team, maybe you've heard of them...the Jazz are currently in the western conference playoffs, hopefully this year they'll make it all the way. Anyhow, back on April 4th Sabrina and I went to a game with a few friends. Just to prove that we were really there we made sure to get the court in the pictures, if you look carefully you might be able to see Boozer or Williams. We had a good time and I thought I'd share...Go Jazz!

Our Latest Events
I wanted to share with you all the surprise I received when I walked into the kitchen a couple of nights ago.
I loved having them it was something nice to look at especially since I was not feeling well all week. They smelled so good too. It was funny to watch Camarae try to smell them too.
Here are some things that Camarae and I did together today. I had to share since I've been home all day and night by myself.
1. We went downstairs and vacuumed the rooms and the stairs.
2. Made sure that all spiders and cobwebs that had been made since going downstairs last were taken care of.
3. Cleaned the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom.
4. Cleaned the parts of the vacuum, filters and dirt containers.
5. Played primary songs on the piano, Camarae likes to hear the primary songs on the piano.
6. Tried to get Camarae to roll from her stomach to her back. Succeeded two times out of the many other times throughout the day.
7. Tried to get Camarae to eat some more carrots, which she actually ate this time. Amazingly enough! She still is refusing to eat the baby cereal. I wonder were she gets her stubbornness from?
8. Camarae ate some baby food puffs that I had to break up for her and let hear suck off of my finger. She loved them. She kept making noises until I would give her another one. I'm going to have to see if I can find some that
are actually made for her age and not the
12 month age made puffs. (See pictures below, she is actually sitting up. I still can't figure out how to rotate the pictures in another program where it will transfer for the blog.) Can you see her impatience in the picture? She was starting to scream because I didn't have a puff ready for her.
I feel like there were so many other things that we did but I can't think of what besides the eating, napping (Camarae only), and more playing with toys/keeping her entertained when she was done entertaining herself.
I hope tomorrow warms up enough were we could go outside and do the things out there that I want to get done. I have some flower seeds that I want to plant in the planters around the mailbox. I think I got a little flower happy when I bought the seeds but we will see how it turns out from what blooms.
FYI-to all those who are wondering how my first Sunday went in the Bella Vista Ward. In sacrament meeting Camarae thought that she needed to compete with all of the noise and had to add her own to the place. One time she even screamed out she got in trouble for that and didn't try it again. Then in Sunday school she wanted to be too loud for us to stay in the RS room where it was being held so we were in the hall the whole time. Then before RS she was getting tired and I tried to get her to fall asleep but there were too many other distractions in the hallway. So I in to RS thinking that maybe she would be o.k. She was fine for the first 10 minutes and then she started getting loud so I took her out and changed her stinky diaper. Hoping that was her only problem I went back in. But not even 2 minutes of being back in there she started fussing really loud. Yet again I left the room with her to hopefully get her to go to sleep this time. Before I left the room I noticed a gray haired lady leave the room and when I got out of the room I saw her in the hall that leads to the parking lot. She looked back and glared at me and then she left church. I figured because she didn't like how noisy Camarae was. But what can you do, I did everything that I could. She just is not a quiet baby at all. Everything she does has be to noisy. The only thing that she is quiet at is when she is actually sleeping. Not the falling asleep part but the sleeping part. During all this I was able to meet four ladies in the ward that are around my age with little kids. So this week I'll hopefully be able to go the lunch at the park with them on Thursday, it would be a lot of fun. I'll keep you updated on how the switching over goes.

The Short and Long of it All
For general conference weekend Matt and I invited over our friends Warner and Dasea. We had a very fun weekend together. On Friday night, after Camarae was in bed Dasea cut and colored my hair. The whole cutting results are in the slide show.
The whole week before conference Camarae was sick. For three days she had a fever over 100 degrees. Needless to say it was not a very fun week. And now this week I have sinus stuff, yuck.
Not much else is going on here. We are waiting for it to warm back up and to stop raining. Camarae loves to go outside and just listen to the sounds out there. Sometimes when she gets cranky from being inside we go outside for a while and she seems to really like it. I really can't wait for the warmer weather.
This Sunday will be my first Sunday going to the Bella Vista Ward. I'll let you know how that goes. Have a great week everyone.
